SALVATION
You are a spirit being, you have a soul and you are living in a body. You have an ‘earth suit’ to function in this evil world.
Man is created in the image of God , who invested him with authority to “rule over the fish of the sea, and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth and over all creatures that move on the ground.”(Gen 1:26)
God created you with an eternal spirit (Genesis 2:7) to have a fellowship with Him and Satan deceived Eve (1 Tim 2:14) and snatched away that authority and power that was given to man.
Man lost his position conferred on him as per God’s promise through a woman. God decided to bring back man to his original position through a woman. (Isaiah 9:6)
Recall what the Devil told Jesus: “All this authority I will give You , and their glory, for this has been delivered to Me and I give it to whomever I wish.” (Luke 4:7) Again in 1 John 5:19, there is the affirmation “that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one which supports the Devil’s contention that he is in charge.
Satan is intent on deceiving the whole world by whatever means he can. Since the fall of man in the Garden until the present day, he has attempted to lead the whole world astray:
Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” And the woman said, “The serpent deceived me and I ate.” (Genesis 3:13)
JESUS WAS BORN…
LIFE OF JESUS
As per the prophesy, Jesus was born to Mary by the Holy Spirit. The angel who appeared to Mary had stated: ‘The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the Holy One, to be born, will be called the Son of God.’(Luke 1:35). Jesus lived on this earth for approximately 33 years. He took baptism under John the Baptist. He was made manifest to destroy the works of Satan (1 John 3:8)
He was led by Spirit. “For the one whom God has sent speaks the Words of God; to him God gives the Spirit without limit.” (John 3:34) God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power and He went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the Devil, because God was with Him, so reads Acts 10:38.
He started His public ministry (Luke 3:23) when He was 30 years. He had authority over nature. He turned water into wine, raised the dead, walked on water, healed the sick and was a nightmare to Satan’s kingdom. He gave authority to His disciples to do even ‘greater works.’
If you want to attain this freedom and salvation, here is what the Bible prescribes in Romans 10:9 “ If you confess with your mouth ‘Jesus is Lord’ and believes in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
If you felt the need to be saved now pray this prayer with me: ” Father , I believe in your son Jesus Christ who died on the Cross by shedding His blood to cleanse me from all my sins. As I knew the wages of sin is death, so I believe God has sent His only Son Jesus Christ to die in my place and gave me a new life and written my name in the Book of Life. Forgive me for all my sins as I accept you to come into my heart as my personal savior. I pray this prayer in the name of Jesus.”
